Alabama Childhood Food Solutions (ACFS)

Provides food for children and families battling food insecurity whenever and wherever needed while pointing them to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
King’s Home
Provides Christ-centered homes and services to youth, women and kids seeking refuge, hope and help from domestic violence, neglect, abandonment, homelessness, and other difficult and impoverished conditions and circumstances. A place where compassion resides, where love dwells, and where hope lives through Jesus Christ.
Shelby Baptist Food Bank
Shelby Baptist Association’s Hunger Ministry provides food, baby food, diapers (baby and adult), household cleaning supplies, personal hygiene and feminine hygiene products to families in crisis.

Assists those in poor underserved communities by addressing food insecurities and lack of basic health resources.
Christian Service Mission
Serves the greater Birmingham area for Christ and works alongside churches in order to build healthy communities that reflect oneness with Christ.
Grace Klein Community

Provides food, clothing and helps paying bills to needy families.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES:
Blanket Fort Hope
Supplies therapeutic housing, support services, foster-care training and ongoing advocacy to child survivors of human trafficking.
Presbyterian Home for Children
Provides a faith-based safe haven for children and their caregivers through programs which nurture, educate and equip individuals to become the fully functioning persons God created them to be.
Project Night Night
Provides comfort and hope to homeless and abused children.
Raleigh’s Place
Serves between 300-400 foster and adopted children and children in relative placement every year through foster homes, Camp 1:27, Katie’s Kloset and Workmanship Initiative.

Addiction Prevention Coalition
Provides awareness, prevention and connection to resources related to substance use disorder.
Awaken
Provides Gospel-based and therapeutically sound recovery resources and community for people impacted by sexual brokenness, addiction and trauma.
Jimmie Hale Mission
Provides recovery from the root causes of homelessness through proven process of compassion, guidance and accountability grounded in Christian faith.
Sav-A-Life, Inc. (dba Alabama Pregnancy Test Center)
Serves women, men and families facing an unplanned pregnancy situation.
The Foundry

Restore hopes, rebuild lives and provides a haven where the addict and destitute experience the love of Christ, find freedom and discover purpose via Christ-centered ministries.
The Mission
Offers addiction recovery and a place to worship for Men and Women; and conducts a Jail Ministry program at the Shelby County Jail.
Thrive
Provides free or low-cost Biblically-based counseling, coaching and training in the areas of individual addiction and couples and family systems education and support.

Hope’s Door Inc.
Brings hope and purpose to women broken by the trauma of domestic violence, abuse, homelessness, addiction and trafficking.
My Sister’s Place
Provides a Biblically-based 12-month residential life recovery program for women.
The Well House
Offers restoration to women and children who have been victims of human trafficking.
MEN’S MINISTRIES:
Brother Bryan Mission
Seeks to minister to the economically, emotionally and spiritually impoverished in the central Alabama area.
Turning Point Foundation
Provides men with substance use disorder an opportunity to discover a new life in recovery through a Christ centered emphasis.
BIBLICAL EDUCATIONAL MINISTRIES:
Birmingham Metro Baptist Association’s Discovery Clubs
Brings the Gospel to public schools through after school programs in the Birmingham metro area.
CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship) of Greater Birmingham
Conducts Bible Clubs for children and trains churches to adopt a Bible Club in their community.
First Priority of Alabama

Conducts campus ministry in public schools by equipping students to take the Gospel to their peers.
Hargis Christian Camp
Provides a beautiful, tranquil setting for Christian summer camps and weekend retreats – for churches and Christian organizations.

Serves adults and students in the Marks Village Public Housing Community and delivers Bible Club bags on a monthly basis.
