SPECIAL EVENT ON SEPT. 29 • MT LAUREL CAMPUS NIGHT OF WORSHIP

TERM TWO CLASSES-MT LAUREL

The Stones Cry Out – Part 2 with Tom Cash • C-21

“The Stones Cry Out” is a study of Biblical Archaeology. We will travel back in time and throughout the Scriptures as we discuss archeological artifacts and how they relate to the Biblical story. The artifacts will reveal names and events that will cause the Bible to come alive. In Part 2, we will discuss archeological artifacts that relate to the time period of the Old Testament Kings. This is a continuation of the first four-week class.

The Gospel For Your Everyday Life with Clay Adkisson • Room C-23

Most of us know the past impact of the gospel, our sins are forgiven. Most of us know the future impact of the gospel, which is eternal life with God. But what about the present impact of the gospel on our lives? Have we left the gospel at our conversion? In this class we will discover the gospel’s impact on our everyday lives.

The Purposeful Work of God in Difficult Seasons with Dr. David Watson • Room C-25/26

Walking with God is a journey marked by different seasons. Some seasons are easier to walk through than others. In some seasons, faith is easy, and the nearness of God is almost palpable. In other seasons, belief can be difficult, and God can be difficult to find. Why does God not only allow but, at times, even send those seasons into our faith journey? Because He is accomplishing something in us. This four-week study will look at what God uniquely and purposefully accomplishes in difficult seasons for our good and for His glory. This is not a continuation of the first four-week class, but the same great class offered both terms.

Heart Sing Choir with Hayes Parnell • Worship Room

This group is open to any and everyone – no experience or audition necessary.

The choir rehearses once per week for four months in the fall and will lead worship one Sunday each month during that time. Rehearsals will be Wednesday evenings beginning with the Double Oak University term on September 1st. Contact Hayes Parnell if you have questions or would like more information! This is a continuation of the first

four weeks, and rehearsals will continue after the second term of DOU is completed.

All students will gather at 6:15 pm in the Student Worship Room (upstairs in the Community Building) for worship prior to the middle schoolers breaking into Community Groups. Groups are formed based on grade and gender so students are able to study God’s Word in a welcoming environment, along with friends who are walking through the same life experiences.
