Community Projects
We believe the missions efforts of any church must begin locally. The picture Jesus painted in the great commission is one of expanding circles of concern, ultimately extending around the globe.
With this in mind, we have ministry teams that are committted to reaching out to our community.
Projects Team
The projects team helps organize food for distribution, sort clothing, paint, and other projects. This team primarily assistes local ministry centers and local families directly.
Construction Team
The construction team helps with home repairs and improvements, and construction needs for local area ministry. Team members with carpentry, plumbing, or electrical skills can be of great assistance to this team.
Jail and Prison Ministry Team
There are opportunities for women to be involved in women's prison ministry, and men for jailhouse ministry. These teams will conduct Bible studies in local area prisons, and have the chance to share Christ with those in prison.
