On Sunday Mornings
Parking Team
This team assists in the parking lot to ensure smooth traffic control, and help members and guests with directions.
Greeting Team
This team is responsible for greeting everyone as they come to worship on Sundays, and for
helping guests feel welcome. This team also will help families find their place in small groups on
Sundays.
Usher Team
This team assists families in finding seats in worship, and in the collection of the offering.
Kids Worship Band & Tech Crew
Skilled volunteers are needed to work on the Tech Crew (audio, video & powerpoint)in Kids Extreme 252 Worship.
Audio Visual Team
This team assists in the preparation and presentation of Powerpoint slides for worship, video productions, graphic development, and sound production.
Student Ministry Community Group Leaders
The Student Ministry needs people willing to lead a community group on Sunday morning. This would begin in the fall.
Praise Team and Choir
If you are interested in lending your voice, or playing a musical instrument, consider auditioning for the praise team or the worship band.
During the Week
Small Groups
This ministry includes community groups, and men’s and women’s Bible studies. Opportunities
for ministry include facilitating study, care group ministry, outreach ministry, and facilitating
fellowships.
Children’s Ministry Resource Room Team
This team organizes and maintains our resources like construction paper, markers and crayons. This room needs to be maintained on a regular basis.
Children’s Ministry Clean Team
Volunteers are needed to clean and sanitize our toys and preschool equipment. Volunteers would be on a once a month rotation
Preschool Caregivers Team
These team members volunteer to keep the nursery during worship on Sunday mornings. You can volunteer to serve once a month, every other month, or quarterly basis.
On Call
Hospitality Team
This team is responsible for coordinating food, decorations, etc. for church fellowships and
special events (such as training events, community ministries, etc.).
Ministry Response Team
This team is involved in ministering to people during family crisis and need, such as a death in
the family, hospitalization, or the birth of a child. The team takes care of meeting tangible needs,
such as helping to provide meals, childcare, etc.
Hands and Feet Team
This team is involved in assisting with setup for special events such as banquets and dinners, community events such as Christmas in the square, summer movie nights, concerts, etc. held by the church. This includes moving tables and chairs, setting up staging, and other heavy lifting.
Student Ministry Chaperones
The Student ministry needs volunteers to go on retreats and
trips as chaperones and counselors.
Student Ministry Setup Team
This team is involved in set up and tear down for special youth events and functions.
Student Ministry Food Team
This team will help provide food and drinks for student events. This includes food preparation and serving.
Local Mission Projects Team
This team assists local needs with such things as food distribution, organizing clothes, and other projects.
Local Mission Construction Team
This team will work on home improvement and renovation projects for needy families in our area. Construction experience / expertise is a plus, but is not necessary.
Ladies prison ministry team
This team is involved in Bible studies at Tutwiler prison. Training is required before being able to visit.
Mens jail ministry team
This team is involved in conducting Bible studies at local area jails.
Children’s Ministry Special Events Team
The Children’s Ministry needs people who will help with special events. We need people who are gifted in set construction, costume design, decorating and clean up.
Children’s Ministry Assembly Team
The Children’s Ministry needs people who are good with directions and a screwdriver. This team would be “on call” to put together swings, toys, etc. that would be used for Children’s Ministry.
