"The Amazing Grace Race"

January 11, 2012 kicks off a new theme for Wednesday nights.   Kids in Grades 1-5 will begin work on a new children’s musical to be presented Sunday night, April 1^st at 6:00 PM.  The musical will be “The Amazing Grace Race”.  In the musical, the young racers are learning that the secret to running life's grace race is to follow in "His" steps, but in "their" shoes. When facing tough stretches through places like the Valley of Despair and Badlands Bog, these kids learn the value of love, forgiveness, perseverance, and the value of working as a team. Running with faith, they look to the great cloud of witnesses cheering them on and consider the signs they are leaving for those who will come behind. Most importantly, they run so as to cross the finish line and hear Jesus say, "Well done!"

There will be auditions for solos, speaking and acting parts and special choreography groups.  This will be an experience to remember for a lifetime!  Wednesday night activities begin on January 11^th.  Rehearsals will be every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 pm on the 2^nd floor of the Children’s Building.  Kids from all over our community are invited to be a part of this presentation!
