Missions - Working Outside the Walls of DOCC

Missions is not just about making long trips.  It is about feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, housing the homeless, and visiting the lonely.  It is about conveying to the world that the ultimate expression of love is found, not in what we give them, but what God has given to all of us in His son.  It is His love that inspires every true act of one in the universe.

Food & Supply Drive

Benefitting God's Outreach Center

January 29 - February 12

Matthew 22:39 tells us to "love our neighbors as ourselves."  Take this opportunity to help others in our surrounding communities.  Fill a grocery bag with any of the following items and return to the Connection Point:

Non-perishable food items such as peanut butter, jelly, rice, muffin mixes, dried beans, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, corn meal, flour, sugar boxed pasta and casseroles, canned vegetables, canned meats, canned fruit, ketchup, mayonnaise and salad dressings.  Other items needed:  paper towels, toilet paper, diapers, baby wipes, baby wash, baby shampoo, baby lotion, dish soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, cleaning supplies, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste and soap.

Upcoming Opportunities

RWCS - Iasi, Romania - May 4-12

Worship at Way of Joy and Ecclesia International on Sunday morning and lead Bible classes in English at the Richard Wurmbrand Christian School (grade school - high school) Monday through Friday in Romania.  In the afternoons and evenings, participate with other churches in Iasi and surrounding villages in various ministry work.  Please contact the church office for more information.     Team Size - 10     Approximate cost - $2400

Doulos Partners - Zambi, Africa - May 7-18

Travel the country meeting with national missionaries, praying for them, doing training sessions, leading worship, sharing testimonies, watching/sharing time with missionaries out in the bush sharing the gospel.  The price of the trip also includes a one-day safari.  Please contact the church office for more information.     Team size - open     Cost - $3500
