Outpost Men's Ministry
In ancient times, the Roman army built outpost fortifications in forward areas to provide their soldiers with protection. These camps represented a rallying point for the roman legions while in the midst of battle, as well as a temporary refuge from the enemy. These outposts were used, not as a retreat from battle, but as a base of operations.
This is the idea behind outpost men's ministry. It is a place where men come together to share their struggles in a safe environment. A place to meet with other men to examine our lives, our relationships, and our responsibilities in the light of God's purposes. A place that balances unconditional acceptance with accountability. A place where men are challenged to live out their destiny.
